Many buyers have come to observe that a good number of HGH supplements on the market constitute scams. Many of these products do not really do what is promised since they only lay claims to benefits established in studies involving real synthetic HGH. This is where Genf20 Plus distinguishes itself being a growth hormone supplement whose benefits have been evaluated clinically. So what has been shown in a study about the effectiveness of Genf20 Plus?
Genf20 Plus is not really like synthetic HGH that is usually recommended for individuals suffering from serious growth hormone deficiency. It does not contain real hormone, but it is instead a natural supplement that helps to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce more growth hormone. It is made using natural ingredients which, to a significant extent, are safe and do not constitute threats to your health. These include:
• L-Arginine HCI
• L-Lysine HCI
• Tribulus terrestris extract
• Astragalus root
The ingredients have been show in diverse studies to contribute in different ways to stimulate the anterior pituitary gland to produce more HGH.
You may wonder of what need is it to use supplements like Genf20 Plus anyway since growth hormone is produced naturally. Well, the issue here is that HGH levels in the body are known to drop as people grow older. The level of growth hormone in the body usually peaks in the adolescent years. After puberty, the amount of GH in the body starts to decline. This drop gets more significant after attaining the age of 30. It has been associated with unpleasant signs of aging, such as wrinkles, low sex drive, brittle bones and decreased cognitive function, among others.
Supplementing with Genf20 Plus, however, is supposed to assist in relieving the symptoms of HGH decline and making you look younger. Improved growth hormone production helps to burn body fat, build lean muscle mass and raises energy level. HGH is a performance enhancer, which is why the use of its injection has been banned in many sports. It promotes overall feeling of wellness.
Several studies, including the widely-referenced one by Dr. Daniel Rudman, have highlighted the benefits of HGH supplementation. These have contributed to raise interest in the use of HGH to combat aging, maintain younger appearance or tap into numerous other benefits. It is these benefits which were observed mainly through the use of synthetic HGH that many supplements lay claim to. But biosynthetic growth hormone is the most effective means of boosting HGH levels since it is largely like the natural substance. You can never expect HGH supplements to work at the same level. They merely stimulate natural production of growth hormone and are mostly without studies to back up efficacy.
Genf20 Plus is in a class of its own among HGH supplements or releasers having shown promise in clinical research. It was the focus of a double-blind study carried out in 2012 by researchers in India. The objectives were to evaluate the impacts of Genf20 Plus on IGF-1 levels and on the quality of life as well as its safety and tolerability. In other words, the researchers were interested in finding out if the supplement stimulates the anterior pituitary gland to produce more HGH for higher serum levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), the vehicle through which growth hormone delivers most of its benefits.
This study lasted for 12 weeks, with 61 subjects completing it in line with laid down protocol. The participants, aged between 35 and 65, were divided into two groups. Those in the treatment group were 31 in total, while those in the control group were 30. Subjects in the control group received two Genf20 Plus tablets and 2 ml of Genf20 Plus liquid two times a day before meals. The control group subjects got two placebo carboxymethyl cellulose tablets and 2 ml of flavored distilled water twice daily for the duration of the study.
The researchers observed that individuals in the treatment group showed noticeable improvement in their serum IGF-1 levels, compared to those in the placebo group, by the end of the 12 weeks. The increase in levels was neither statistically nor clinically significant, though. A closer look at the subgroup of subjects older than 40, however, revealed a more significant improvement in HGH and IGF levels after Genf20 Plus therapy. No significant difference was noticed between the individuals in the two groups aged below 40, as this were thought to still be able to produce normal serum HGH and IGF-1 levels needed by the body.
However, Genf20 Plus did not have significant effect on certain measures of quality of life, such as BMI, body fat, waist circumference and lean body mass. Significant improvement was, strangely, recorded in both groups when it came to quality of life variables such as memory, sleep and energy level. Better results would probably have been obtained if the study had gone on for longer. The use of Genf20 Plus resulted in just a total of 12 cases of side effects, all of which were reportedly mild.
While the double-blind study on Genf20 Plus may have failed to produce
groundbreaking results, it at least showed that the supplement can help boost
HGH levels. One may easily agree that 12 weeks is not a long enough period to
see awesome results from a supplement – you can only expect that from synthetic
HGH, whose use may be accompanied by side effects. The researchers noted that no
study has reflected improvement in all parameters at the same time; studies have
only shown improvement in select areas or parameters. They implied greater
results should be expected when Genf20 Plus is used over a longer period as this
will allow enough time for serum IGF-1 levels to rise more significantly to
deliver desired outcomes.
"I would wholeheartedly recommend GenF20Plus to anyone who is wishing to increase their HGH levels and improve their health"
